About the role;
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work on aspects of implementation and operational and technical support of customer facing BI Projects, from designing visualisations and dashboards, to data analysis, to supporting clients to make best use of their BI tools. The role involves being the central of contact within the BI Practice for customer support queries, problems, and issues, via telephone, email, and remote support.
As a Practice, we aim to deliver business improvement to customers in a wide range of industries. Outside of the support elements of this role, you will assist with analysing new and existing software development requirements, help propose appropriate solutions and timelines, and carrying out development tasks. This will involve extracting, modelling, and presenting data in dashboards and reports, turning data into knowledge, information, and wisdom.
You will be exposed to projects on a variety of product stacks, such Qlik Sense, Power BI and Azure, either individually or as part of a cross-practice team, depending on project size and scope.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Provide world class technical guidance and support to customers, as measured by our NPS system

Investigate and resolve incidents and problems via telephone, email and remote access within SLA

Implementing change requests and small works in solutions developed in Qlik Sense, Power BI, Azure, SQL Server (SSIS/SSRS)

Deliver ‘Consultancy as a Service’ activities for our customer base, showcasing the latest technological advances and identifying areas of improvement, and implementing those improvements

Problem analysis, investigation work and following instructions to fix an issue

Working with our BI Consultants, being involved in end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) projects, using an agile methodology

Install, upgrade and configure Qlik and Microsoft BI products

Maintain relevant documentation for our customer base

Extract data from various data sources, building ETL processes and data models

Build user friendly, functional, yet beautiful dashboards and reports using data visualisation techniques

Proactively manage personal development and ‘up skilling’ of technical abilities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;

Certifications in Qlik and Power BI would be advantageous

Demonstratable experience of developing/implementing/supporting solutions with at least one of the following Business Intelligence tools - Qlik Sense (or QlikView), Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure Data Factory / Azure Data Lake / Azure SQL, SQL Server Integration Services / Reporting Services
