About the role;

Reporting to our Chief Technology Officer, you will provide inspirational leadership to TSG’s Pre Sales Team and ensure close team working with the wider Sales Team, Project Delivery and our Consultancy Practices.
Ensure consistent, timely, high levels of quality and standards are being met across all proposal delivery. Contribute to wider sales team effort by supporting colleagues on solutions that require more complex design input. Work closely with others to ensure deadlines are met on larger opportunities and assist in reviewing documentation when required.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
  • Leadership of Pre Sales Team
  • Key supplier management with CTO
  • Management of proposals - agreeing time scheduling, review points & resource planning
  • Resource planning with service delivery teams (scopes, audits etc.)
  • Allocation of appropriate presales resource to match opportunity requirements
  • Review on boarding information from new customers to ensure issues are processed
  • Support wider Sales Team in product knowledge
  • Ensure all D365 opportunities are kept up to date and accurate
  • Support colleagues on large opportunities
  • Escalation point for issues related to solution design
  • Possess strong team management capability and coaching style
  • Be ready to assist staff remotely or alongside when required and mentor staff to improve capability
  • Show leadership around design elements of proposals, issue resolution & delivery timescales
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure best solution fit for customer/TSG
  • Build effective working relationships with key suppliers alongside CTO
  • Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure best commercial returns from TSG delivery
  • Nationwide travel will be required as part of this role
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;                       
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent
  • Industry standard accreditations for Microsoft and others in either sales or presales certifications would be beneficial
  • Should have a detailed knowledge and understanding of both traditional Infrastructure and Cloud platform solutions
  • Comfortable presenting to internal sales teams and clients at any level
  • Ability to manage a UK wide team and improve team efficiency
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong PowerPoint & presentation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a broad understanding of client business issues
  • Proactive and highly organised with strong time management and planning skills and proven ability to multi-task 
  • Should have over 5 years’ experience in a presales role or environment
  • Should have managed technical or presales teams in the past, ideally UK wide
  • Have up to date knowledge of the latest Cloud and Mid-Market architecture design
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and proactively seek opportunities to improve process/solution design
  • Demonstrates commitment to the role, team, and company, and go the extra mile when required
  • Demonstrate creativity and react positively to new challenges and change
  • Demonstrate self-awareness and practical self-development in pursuit of continuous improvement
