Job Purpose & Responsibilities;
 
As a Junior Service Design Lead, you will be part of a fast paced and successful team, supporting them in the acquisition of new name customers and delivering new lines of business wins within existing customers. This role will initially focus on the housing sector, working with Microsoft Cloud and managed service solutions.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong sales background within a commercial environment, nurturing leads, providing solutions and building strong lasting relationships that can evolve in to true partnerships. As this post is on a remote basis you will be able to work independently and achieve targets along with the support of your team and wider colleagues. 
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • Work closely with the Housing team learning about the sector, services and solutions we provide.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, particularly in terms of the Service Design negotiation.
  • Clearly understand TSG’s Microsoft and Managed Services portfolio and the ways in which TSG’s services’ portfolio, and delivery approach, can be differentiated.
  • Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement.
  • Ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM.
  • Deliver consistently against all targets.
  • Track progress against targets on an ongoing basis and take necessary action to re-focus efforts if targets are not being met.
  • Ensure all projects receive a professional handover from Service Design to Service Delivery, including Customer Success Management.
  • Demonstrate effective and collaborative use of all available, relevant resources.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
 
  • You will have a minimum 2 years’ commercial experience
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Able to adapt to and embrace change.
  • Strong PowerPoint & presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a broad understanding of business issues.

  • Proactive and highly organised with strong time management and planning skills and proven ability to multi-task.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable track-record in the successful design and/or management and/or sales of technology solutions.
  • Background within the ICT sector.
  • Background within and understanding of SME market segment.
