About the role;

As a Microsoft Solutions Strategist within TSG you will be an expert in Microsoft Azure and additional associated products. On a day to day basis you will champion Azure internally and externally, influencing our product and customer strategy, supporting our Service Design Leads and Customer Success Managers in the promotion of Azure products to our customers.
 
You will be involved in requirements gathering with customers, compiling proposals, upskilling internal teams, and providing customer training where necessary whilst adopting a consultative approach. You will liaise with our marketing team to generate campaigns that will support and drive an increased pipeline in Microsoft Azure products with our customers.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • Active participation with key prospects and clients, engaging in a consultative manner to identify and advise suitable product solutions and propositions
  • Participate in the enablement of wider training within the TSG team
  • Work closely with the Azure Architect to improve & increase self-serve options & qualify and validate solutions
  • Evaluate business processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Proactive pipeline generation
  • Production of high quality customer communication and proposal documentation
  • Effective and accurate use of TSG CRM system
  • Presenting solutions to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with TSG Marketing and 3rd party suppliers where required to support the campaign process
  • Achievement of team target as defined throughout the year
  • Where required, national Travel is expected to attend customer sites
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;                       
 
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the Azure product portfolio, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Working knowledge of the wider Application, Technical and Telecom portfolio in support of integration and convergence developments
  • A sound knowledge of the competitive landscape in Application, Technical and Telecom portfolio
  • A sound knowledge of project management methodology
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills – written and verbal
  • Effective planning and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong analytic and logic skills
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
