About the role;

As a NAV/BC Presales Consultant you will provide technical and functional support to the sales team in respect of Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • Identify, understand and define client needs, objectives and business drivers and design a solution that can best meet the clients’ requirements.
  • Assisting with the creation of service estimates.
  • Develop presentation material and demonstration scenarios for sales presentations.
  • Demonstrate the value of the solution (not just the functionality).
  • Build a strong working relationship with the TSG sales & technical teams.
  • Support prioritised sales cycles, helping with strategy, competitive positioning, demonstrations and presentations.
  • Actively support the sales teams in promoting and identifying solutions, articulating functional fit and completeness, responding to bid cycles, to the clients requests for information and information to tender.
  • Communicate the business requirements to the project/implementation team after completion of the sale, to ensure a smooth transition from presales to implementation stages.
  • Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude, and works to solve problems.
  • Stay up to date with new trends within Dynamics 365, our competitors, our partners and the IT industry as a whole.
  • Attend industry seminars and events to raise profile of TSG and maintain own up to date knowledge of industry.
  • Nationwide travel will be required as part of this role.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;                       
 
  • Industry standard accreditations for Microsoft and others in either sales or presales certifications would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Comfortable presenting to internal sales teams and clients at any level
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong PowerPoint & presentation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a broad understanding of client business issues
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Needs based sales methodology; solution or consultative selling.
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Awareness and appreciation of the demonstration to win approach to selling. Whilst preferrable, training will be provided.
  • Possess a client centric consultative approach to solution design.
