About the role;

Reporting to the Practice Operations Manager / Practice Manager you will coordinate technical and applications projects across TSG’s delivery teams. This will include significant customer communication, managing consultant and developer schedules, liaising with Order Processing and Logistics and may include kick-off meetings with the sales team and project managers. It will also include close coordination with the delivery team Practice Leads.

 
This is a hybrid role, therefore we are looking for you to be within close travelling distance from one of our offices in Glasgow or Newcastle upon Tyne for regular collaboration time.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • The administration and coordination associated with the project delivery processes from initial sales order through to project completion
  • Liaising with the sales team with all new orders around lead times
  • Liaising with internal and external customers around consultant availability
  • Working with your practice team to coordinate or share resource
  • Working independently and with the Operations Manager to manage the open projects and resources to assist in achieving utilisation and revenue targets
  • Maintain projects and internal systems in accordance with TSG quality processes ensuring data completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with smooth delivery of all projects, helping to gain sign off where relevant
  • General administration, reporting and data maintenance  
  • Ensuring hardware and software is available on time to facilitate projects through liaison with Order Processing
  • Liaising with TSG Logistics to ensure project equipment is delivered in a timely manner
  • Build strong relationships with consultants/developers and awareness of consultant’s skill sets
  • Supporting with the escalation of any projects that are problematic and require senior business attention
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;                       
 
  • IT qualification would be desirable
  • Literacy and numeracy qualifications
  • Excellent organisation skills and proven customer service skills
  • Scheduling and project management experience awareness and understanding
  • Confident, professional, and proactive attitude to work
  • Good telephone manner
  • Must be accurate with proven numeracy skills
  • Must be an effective communicator
  • Proven effective communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of the IT services industry would be an advantage
  • Proven scheduling experience would be an advantage
  • Proven project management experience would be an advantage
