About the role;

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and delivering multiple projects of various size, complexity, and risk. Taking full ownership and leading your projects from inception through to delivery, organising and completing your own administration and collating your own reports, project plans and highlight reports both to your customer and to TSG. Working collaboratively with the wider operational teams within TSG, such as our Customer Success Managers and Service Design Leads to ensure full continuity of service. You will have strong organisational and planning skills, be comfortable working to deadlines of varying timelines with a demonstrable background of Project Management ideally from an SME or Managed Service business.
 
This is a home based role, however, we are looking for you to be within close travelling distance from one of our offices in Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne or London for regular collaboration time.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • To plan the effective delivery of projects using ProjectCare methodology ensuring effective internal & external customer communication and satisfaction is always maintained
  • Create project documentation to include,Quality Reports, Project Kick Off, Go lIve Readiness and Project Plans
  • Manage the day to day elements of the project to endure deadlines are met and consultant and field resource utilisation is maximized by minimising non chargeable days (FOC’s overruns etc.)
  • Accurately record and maintain CRM project records, including your time and consultant chargeable and non-chargable activities
  • Work with the wider TSG operations team to ensure successful delivery of the projects within specified timeframes and measures of success
  • Liaising and maintaining communication lines with the CSM’s and SDL’s where appropriate
  • Managing project Risks and Issues using CRM and Microsoft Teams project sites
  • Logging detailed information in response to customer queries and responding in a timely manner with solutions
  • Coordinate handover to support following completion of the projects
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
                                                                          
  • Formally recognised project management qualification; PRINCE2, APM, MSc or similar
  • IT Qualifications would be an advantage but not essential based on experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a project environment
  • Appropriate interpersonal skills required to deliver and influence project success in a matrix environment
  • Strong communication skills – using a variety of methods
  • Conflict management
  • Sound decision making processes
  • Strong IT product knowledge, including Microsoft 365 Solutions and Cloud Technologies
  • Adaptable and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Service focused
  • Ability to deal with escalations and demonstrate ownership through to resolution
  • Proven project management experience in complex environments
  • Proven effective communication and influencing skills
  • Proven technical and applications experience is essential
