About the role;
As a Senior Business Central Consultant you will be responsible for incorporating all aspects of scope, design, and implementation of NAV / BC primarily from a technical perspective. Incorporating onsite and remote configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC and its associated modules for customers, together with support and maintenance of NAV/BC and third-party offerings which amalgamate with the NAV / BC solution.
Providing the foresight to review orders and potential orders to flag concerns at the earliest opportunity whilst looking to provide resolutions with the pre-sales team and carry through into the operations delivery. Involved on the pre-sales process and design/deliver demos to prospect customers.
You will be a point of escalation for the Consultant team and mentor to the more junior members of the team in assisting the Operations Director to continuously improve the teams dynamic and capability.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

NAV / BC Project Solution Advisor

Attend relevant IKO’s, EKO’s

Reviews FRD’s as required across the team

Creates/Reviews Resource and Project Plan with Project Managers

Attends NAV/BC Project Collaboration Meeting

NAV / BC Solution Designer (Advise on Server/Environment Architecture etc)

NAV / BC Installation (SQL Server and NAV) Specialist (Server side and Client)

NAV / BC Troubleshooting and Support Assistance dependent upon utilisation

Review Initial Setup and prep for Developer review

Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
-
MB-800 Certified
-
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and BC
-
Knowledge or specialism in one additional to NAV / BC, e.g. Manufacturing, Retail, Fashion / Furniture, etc.

Self-starter and able to use own initiative
-
Proven track record of project closure and achievement of targets.

Ability to deal with escalation issues and demonstrate ownership of such issue through to resolution or further escalation

Proven People Management skills
