About the role;
As a Senior NAV/BC Developer you will join a dynamic team while actively contributing to the successful delivery of Business Central projects. You will be responsible for delivering solutions in NAV and Business Central. Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV, you will work with the support team and guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring optimal project outcomes and client satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical and business analysis skills.
You will be part of the BC/NAV development team of the Dynamics practice, ensuring the practice has the required technical skills, resources, toolsets, and solution offerings to meet our customers’ requirements.
Reporting to the Principal NAV/BC Developer for NAV/BC Practice, you will positively influence year-on-year business growth.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Working with the Consultants, provide solutions and quotes for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify potential project risks, mitigate, and escalate with support from Project Manager where necessary.

Build and maintain strong relationships through presales and project delivery with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the team delivers tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Support the pre-sales function to ensure the preparation of high-quality sales proposals. Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for system improvements and optimisations. Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Deliverer high quality software source code to specifications, adhering to coding standards and development solutions to meet project requirements and customer satisfaction, within the project budget and timescale.

Maintain and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central capabilities. Provide expert advice on system configuration, customization, and integration. Stay updated on the latest features and updates within the Business Central ecosystem.

Ensure the quality of deliverables and adherence to best practices in our implementations. Work with Support Team to ensure sufficient quantity and quality of post project documentation is received and reviewed to achieve best possible customer experience.

Work with the Support Team to provide solutions to the customers and issue-free business environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;

Extensive end-to-end NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience

Microsoft Dynamics NAV / BC Accreditations MB820 and MB800 are desirable
-
Experience with git-based source control systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub etc)

Deep technical understanding of C/AL and AL

Technical experience of Microsoft SQL Server
-
Knowledge of ISV solutions and product extensions

Experience of integrating third party software and other Microsoft products with Dynamics 365 Business Central desirable

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Proven track record of project closure and achievement of targets

Functional and technical consulting experience

Experience in methodologies and toolsets
