Job Purpose & Responsibilities;
 
As a Telecoms & Connectivity Sales Specialist you will focus on the development and growth of the TSG Telecoms and Connectivity practice, working between customer success managed accounts, new business leads and the customer care team accounts. The role will be responsible for the renewal of our current telephony and connectivity base whilst supporting the new business leads. You will play a key element in the solution requirement scoping, proposal creation and sales functions whilst working closely with varying TSG departments to assist and support in all items telecoms based.
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
 
  • Participate in the enablement of the Telecoms team through the handling of escalations, information dissemination and shared learning
  • Manage the hosted telephony and connectivity renewal process for all license/line types
  • Engage TSG clients and prospects in a consultative manner to identify and advise suitable product solutions and propositions
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting monthly and quarterly
  • Proactive pipeline generation and ADAM generated pipeline qualification
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline in accordance with aggregate targets and conversion levels
  • Effective and accurate use of TSG CRM system as an integral component of the sales and business process
  • Demonstrate a solution based/consultative approach to understanding clients needs and pain points to allow for compelling event discovery
  • Strict adherence to sales process, governance and instructions for sales
  • Contribute to product silo future direction and strategy through understanding and awareness of key market and product developments
  • Contribute to marketing campaign program through effective messaging, target client segmentation and needs awareness
  • Responsible for individuals’ performance in a target driven environment
  • Active participation within key clients and supporting Telecoms Senior Specialist’s with larger or more complex solutions
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience;
 
  • Degree qualified would be an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years business to business sales experience
  • Understanding and experience of selling connectivity services/products
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of TSG Telecoms product portfolio including Gamma Horizon & Microsoft Business Voice
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the wider telephony / connectivity sector
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the competitive landscape in application, technical and telecom portfolio
  • Possess a working knowledge of application and technical portfolio in support of integration and convergence developments
  • Possess a high degree of self-awareness and appetite for personal development 
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Commercial awareness and a broad understanding of business issues – needs based sales methodology, solution or consultative selling
